Why this trip

Two nights is genuinely enough for Seville. The old town is walkable end to end in twenty minutes, the Alcázar and the Triana market sit on opposite banks of the same short stroll, and dinner culture starts late enough that a Friday evening arrival costs you nothing.

   • 10:00Real Alcázar, first slotBook the 09:30 or 10:00 entry online. Two hours covers the Mudéjar palace, the Ambassadors' Hall and the gardens before the tour groups land.If the weather turns: Sold out? The Casa de Pilatos is quieter, cheaper and nearly as beautiful.
   • 12:30Cross to TrianaOver the Isabel II bridge to Mercado de Triana. Ceramics stalls, oyster bar, and a look at the old Inquisition foundations underneath.
   • 14:00Lunch at Casa RupertoGrilled quail, cold beer, plastic chairs, no ceremony. Under €20 a head.If the weather turns: Hot day? Take lunch indoors at Bar Las Golondrinas and swap the afternoon walk for a siesta.
